Hand drawn and carved lettering based on Trajan. I wanted to do a twin work, one with the word immortality and the other with the words destruction cometh (from the Bible). Two opposing ideas relating to stone. However, on this occasion I decided to do one using IMMORTAL and I plucked out of the ether the word WAYS to go with it. After some time of carving I noticed that ALWAYS can be read in the words which has a nice connection to IMMORTALITY. I suppose I wondered whether the choice of word had been subconscious!!!
